CON FIBER
As Polypropylene fiber for a three dimensional reinforcement
What is CON FIBER
" CON FIBER" is a fiber reinforcing material that prevents shrinkage and drying cracks and makes
denser and stronger to concrete, mortar, stucco and plaster.
" CON FIBER" is a new material of which the million of fiber are in three dimensions distributed
per 1㎥ of mixture so that it may strongly connect up the textures with each other, not only preventing
the concrete from cracking but also having the resistance to shock, damage, corrosion, erosion, freezing
and other harmful factors.
Physical Properties of "CON FIBER"
1. Material : Homopolymer Polypropylene
2. Absorption : 0
3. Specific Gravity : 0.91
4. Melting Point : Above 162°C
5. Acid Resistance : 99% strength retained (95% HCL solution at 21 degree Celsius for 1,000hrs)
6. Alkali Resistance : 99% strength retained (40% NAOH solution at 21 degree Celsius for 1,000hrs)
7. Tensile Strength : Above 2,600 kg/㎠
Effects of "CON FIBER"
1. Restricts shrinkage and drying cracks of concrete, mortar, stucco and plaster.
2. Increase the resistance to shock, damage.
3. Increase the resistance to corrosion, erosion.
4. Increase the resistance to fatigue, repetitive load (increase toughness)
5. Increase the permeability (decrease steel erosion)
6. Decreases the phenomenon of plastic settlement cavitations (during concrete placing)
7. Replace the welded wire mesh or lath (Floor slab, Mortar Finishing)
8. No wire mesh and less rebound in shotcrete.
9. Easy use, reducing construction schedule, saving labor costs.

Mix Design |
The reinforcing function of "CON FIBER" in the mixture is not a chemical
nut a physical process. And the amount of fiber are so much
(volumetric ratio below 0.1%) that it effects little on mix design. |
|
Mixing Method |
Putting: Put the applicable amount of "CON FIBER" into the batch plant
or job-site mixer. |
|
Mixing time: When putting into the batch plant or job-site mixer, 3 to 5
minutes are recommended at full revolution of the mixing drum. |
|
Placing |
Same as common concrete (Mortar) |
|
Workability: Due to restricting plastic settlement cavitations, the slump
value may be decreased but workability is the same as common concrete |
|
No water should be added only depending on your bare eye's criteria. |
|
If necessary, the plasticizer can added |
|
Pump ability: AS the fiber? slippery surface and less friction resistance,
Pumping is easier in the same slump value. |
|
Finishing
|
Same as common concrete (Mortar) |
|
Start finishing with almost no bleed water. |

Characteristic of "CON FIBRE
|
1. Metal Lath (Wire Mesh) has only two-dimensional reinforcement while "CON FIBER" has three-dimensional reinforcement. |
|
2. "CON FIBER" decreases shrinkage and drying cracks and permeability due to fluidity by connecting up the textures strongly at the first stage of curing. |
|
3. "CON FIBER" provides the durability highly by increasing the compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, flexibility and the resistance to shock and damage, freeze-thawing after concrete curing. |
|
4. "CON FIBER" has high chemical resistance that it still maintains its characteristics in the strong alkali and acid. |
|
5. Each fiber is coated with anti-static lubricants to be totally distributed in the mixture so that they may not have balling or conglomerating. |
|
6. To be more completely distributed in the mixture, distribution-aids are added to manufacture.
|
|
7. When "CON FIBER" is used in the shotcrete of tunnel and building ceiling, rebounds and material loss can be highly decreased. |
|
8. "CON FIBER" has made 25 denier (single line type) thick fiber not to make fiber protrusion at the surface during mortar finishing stage. |
|
9. Due to simple construction, it contributes strongly toward the solution of manpower shortage at job-site. |

Packing
"CON FIBER" is packed by standard quantity 0.9 KG/Bag (Polyethylene bag) per Concrete (Mortar) 1M3 for easy use,
and special packing is also possible according to your order.
